A project to raise awareness for Conservation, Sustainability and Community Empowerment.
First I would like to extend an appreciation word to my friend Veronique from Boheme SG to trust on Enkopiro and me for this fascinating project. Fashion Frontier Project exemplifies our vision uniting six fashion designers from Singapore to promote sustainability, responsible tourism, and education in the Maasai Mara under Veronique leadership to promote her new African Collection designed for this purpose.
With the launching of the project at the inspiring venue of @1880singapore, this collaboration marks the beginning of a transformative movement within the fashion industry. Together, we are fostering a new trend—one that intertwines style with purpose. We extend our deepest gratitude to the talented designers: @bohemesg for crafting the overarching concept, and @simoneirani, @naodesign, @totallytala, @ericraisina, @itsmomaya, and @thetuicollection for their innovative contributions.
A special thanks to Mr. Neal Chandaria, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya in Singapore, for joining our Sustainability and Conservation panel discussion, and to Maasai Reto Association for helping turn our community projects into reality. We are also enthusiastic with our Ololasurai Conservancy, that fuels our mission and give us motivation to keep on growing.
With insights from Terrascope and engaging moderation by Xinlu Liu, and Felipe Daguila our discussions illuminated the vital connection between conservation and sustainable practices. Fashion plays a new role in this, and new trends are coming in: new materials, artisan’s works, recycling, reusing…
