There are moments when one feels the need to express gratitude, and today is one of those days. As we mark the launch of our new website, three years after our humble beginnings, we don’t want to miss the chance to thank everyone who has been part of our journey. Please forgive us for not mentioning everyone by name, as you are many, and we wouldn’t want to leave anyone out. To each and every one of you, we simply say: THANK YOU! ASANTE SANA!! You are all extraordinary, and it brings us immense joy to know that you are part of the Enkopiro family. Today, we stand bigger and stronger than when we started, surrounded by incredible people and an exceptional team. We have exciting projects on the horizon, and we hope you’ll continue to accompany us on this exiting journey.
Enkopiro represents more than the traditional safari in Masai Mara. We want you to experience the best, with unique and tailor-made safaris, the best family trip, a memorable honeymoon or the best safari with friend… and we want you to get the opportunity to add authentic cultural encounters with the Masai tribe. Kenya and Masai Mara is a unique destination!
Our new website aims to better reflect our personality and our project, perhaps with a more personal touch, yet with a wealth of content, placing a stronger emphasis on our conservation efforts and community involvement.
We always say that our project stands on three pillars:
- The first being the Enkopiro Camp, a boutique, family-run endeavor always striving to offer something different by combining photographic safaris with immersive experiences, serving as our operational hub.
- Protecting the wildlife and ecosystem that surround us is for us a source of pride and necessity, our commitment with nature and the legacy we will leave behind, making the Ololasurai Conservation Area our second pillar.
- Lastly, promoting community projects by supporting the Masai tribe that accompanies us on a daily basis, with focus on education, improved access to water, and women’s empowerment, constitutes our third foundation and we thanks the Maasai Reto Association, which helps us to work on many of these initiatives. None of these elements could work today without the others.
We want to express our gratitude to those clients who have voluntarily shared their photos as visual storytellers on our website. To us, the best way to convey the Enkopiro experience is by sharing how you have lived it, and it was essential for us to tell our story through your lens.
Thank you to all who have already been part of this project, and a warm welcome to all who wish to join us in the future.
